Morrison Foerster Named a Leading Firm for Technology by Chambers USA 2025
In its 2025 guide, Chambers USA has identified Morrison Foerster’s Technology Group as a market leader. MoFo has once more been awarded Band 1 rankings in both the Nationwide: Technology and California: Technology categories.
We continue to be the “go to” practice for clients with strategic, complex, and novel technology-related matters and issues. Clients say we “excel in topic matter expertise and remain accessible, friendly and practical” and praise our “reach and depth” in AI (where MoFo has been awarded a Band 1 nationally in Chambers’ inaugural ranking), interactive and digital media, semiconductors, consumer products and retail, and fintech.
Six MoFo lawyers achieved eight individual rankings for technology, including at the national level, as well as in California, New York, and Texas:
Matthew Karlyn, partner in MoFo’s Boston office, is ranked in Band 1 for Intellectual Property: Licensing in Massachusetts. Clients believe “his greatest strengths include his careful analyses of complex matters and his ability to bring in the right subject matter experts.”
